Approve New Full -Time Information Technology Technician Position <br />Segedie, Information Technology Analyst, cited the increased use of information technology <br />(IT) assets, as well as the fact that staff are increasingly utilizing and relying on information <br />technology to assist in their job functions, as evidence for staff recommendation to approve <br />this new, full-time IT position. Approval of the recommendation will create stability and <br />provide the increased support necessary to operate the IT unit. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0 to Approve new full-time <br />position and job description for Information Technology Technician (Range 41.) <br />B. Agreement for Professional Services by and between the Conejo Recreation & Park <br />District (CRPD) and the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) <br />for Financial Management and Accounting Services <br />Friedl thanked Lewanda for all her efforts on behalf of both CRPD and MRCA. Lewanda <br />explained that CRPD has provided accounting services to MRCA since 1985. A formal <br />agreement was entered into in 2012; this is a follow up agreement to that initial agreement. <br />Gibson suggested CRPD overhead costs be built into the fee; discussion ensued. The <br />agreement was approved subject to the addition of overhead. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 authorize the General <br />Manager to execute the Agreement for Professional Services by and between CRPD <br />and MRCA for Financial Management and Accounting Services, as amended, i.e., plus <br />additional costs for overhead <br />C. Amendments to Operating Agreement for Goebel Adult Community Center (aka <br />"Senior Center") and the Land Lease for the Senior and Teen Center <br />Friedl reviewed the history of both the Senior Center agreement and the Senior and Teen <br />Center land leases, stressing the longstanding cooperative approach pursued by the City <br />and District to deliver public facilities and services. The City would like to update the <br />agreement and leases. The term of the Operating Agreement for the Senior Center is <br />expiring and staff is recommending the underlying Land Lease be updated to bring <br />consistency between the Teen Center and the Senior Center in terms of cessation of use <br />and property disposition. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to; <br />
