1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />May 17, 2018 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Holt called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm and Lewanda led the flag salute. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Outdoor Unit — Summer Day Camps <br />Avery Akers, Recreation Coordinator, Conejo Community Center and Outdoor Unit, <br />provided highlights and interesting statistics regarding five summer day camps, including <br />two Wildwood Camps, Thousand Oaks Camp, Newbury Park Camp and Little Folks Camp. <br />A Powerpoint presentation followed with photos indicative of the various activities and <br />experiences campers enjoy. Akers answered Board Members' questions and was thanked <br />for his informative presentation. <br />ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of April 19, 2018 Regular Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $1,952,464.04 <br />Payroll $806,000.00 <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented. <br />
