DEFERRED MATTERS <br />S. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2018-2019 <br />I_ewanda reported this is the official kickoff to the FY 2015-2019 budget and represents the <br />second year of the two-year budget, which was adopted last June. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 3-0 to approve Resolution <br />No. 040518-A, adopting a preliminary budget for fiscal year 2018-2019, that it be read <br />in title only and all further readings be waived, and authorize the General Manager to <br />publish the notice of adoption. <br />B. Contract for Design Services at Conejo Creek Southwest Park <br />Hare reported public outreach was made regarding options for the development of Conejo <br />Creek Southwest; this information was used to develop a plan, which was then presented to <br />the public; slight modifications were made based on feedback. A request for proposal for <br />design services was developed and advertised. Eleven proposals were received. Staff <br />recommends using RRM Design (which did the design work for Sapwi Community Park.) <br />Additionally, staff is asking for an additional $100K in developer fees to cover costs for <br />construction drawings for the project. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 3-0 to: <br />1. Appropriate $100,000 of Capital Project Funds Zone IV (developer fees) <br />to Conejo Creek Southwest Park Project (Account 1-804-811-81304-000) <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into a contract with RRM Design Group <br />(RRM) in the total amount of $154,620 ($144,090 plus $10,530 contingency) <br />to prepare landscape architectural and civil engineering schematic, design <br />development, and construction drawings for Conejo Creek Southwest Park <br />
