February 1, 2017 <br />Page 4 <br />McGovern on October 19th of last year. She will be bringing recommendations <br />to the Board in March, and Board input will be requested regarding the future <br />of the Therapeutics Recreation program and inclusion. <br />E. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences <br />Attended <br />Lange reported that the Moorpark Watershed, Parks, Recreation and <br />Conservation Authority (MWPRCA), of which he is a member, is looking into <br />connecting a trail from Moorpark's previous waste management property to <br />the COSCA property by the Joel McCrea Ranch; this item will be on the <br />MWPRCA agenda next week. Gibson reported that Friedl and Hare will be <br />making a presentation regarding CRPD's response to the historic drought at <br />the AWAVC Waterwise Information Breakfast on February 15th; reservations <br />may be made through AWAVC. The annual CARPD conference will be held <br />in Lake Tahoe May 30th to June 1 st. Lange and Jones attended the Las Flores <br />Community Garden Annual Meeting, Lange, Holt and Jones attended the City <br />of Westlake Village Community Park grand opening and the Center for Non - <br />Profit Leadership meeting. Betty Berry recently celebrated 25 years of serving <br />her community; CRPD staff and Chair Holt were a part of the celebration at <br />the Goebel Adult Community Center. <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT AGENDA <br />13. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Kathy Carlson, Thousand Oaks, expressed concern with "Processes" 2.2.b. She also <br />expressed concern over what she deemed inappropriate lyrics of certain songs at <br />the Green Day Tribute Concert in the Park last summer. She also brought to the <br />Board's attention to a possible land swap with regard to Conejo Valley Unified School <br />District property. <br />14. EXECUTIVE CLOSED SESSION <br />15.
