The District will <br />conduct its work in a manner that is compatible with those private and commercial efforts, to provide <br />the community and the individual with a wide variety of recreational opportunities. <br />The Master Plan ... at a Glance <br />The Master Plan is integral to the work of the District, guiding staffs in their efforts to improve the <br />quality of life for all in the Conejo Valley. The purpose of the Master Plan is: <br />To provide an information base from which the Board of Directors may make determinations <br />pertaining to short-range goals in relationship to longer-term goals of the CRPD and current <br />planning principles. <br />To consider and evaluate trends in recreation pursuits so that the people of the Conejo Valley may <br />have a meaningful selection of recreational opportunities and facilities (this statement relates to <br />the Therapeutic Recreation Program). <br />To determine population trends and projections, growth indicators, recreational interests, and all <br />other changing demographic factors pertinent to a viable planning process (this statement relates <br />to the Therapeutic Recreation Program). <br />• To review and propose planning guidelines and standards for the acquisition and development of <br />recreation areas and facilities to meet the existing and future needs and desires of the community <br />(this statement relates to the Therapeutic Recreation Program). <br />• To inventory and categorize all existing recreation areas and facilities within the public, semi-public, <br />private, and commercial sectors of the community to provide data pertaining to the availability of <br />all recreational opportunities in the community. <br />To afford the community the opportunity to participate in the determination of future <br />requirements for public recreation and park development within the capabilities and philosophy of <br />CRPD (this statement relates to the Therapeutic Recreation Program). <br />THE W -T GRO <br />DHA RECREATION ACCESSIBILITY CONSULT ff-C <br />ONE SOURCE.
