Edited and Revised Final Report and Recommendations <br />Dear Rochelle: <br />I received and reviewed your comments regarding the final report submitted in July. That followed a <br />very productive meeting in June. At the June meeting, some administrative staff made suggestions, <br />and I have incorporated many of those in this document. Your round of edits this week included some <br />new material as well. In all, we present you with the edited and revised final report for our Phase One <br />evaluation of the Conejo Recreation and Park District Therapeutic Recreation Program. <br />The District retained our firm in late 2016. In our work, we have interviewed CRPD staffs, leadership, <br />participants, stakeholders, and others to prepare this report. This report includes: <br />a General observations about the District <br />i General observations about community-based therapeutic recreation programs <br />a General observations about the CRPD Therapeutic Recreation Program <br />Review of available demographic data, including census data, about the number of people with <br />disabilities in the Conejo Valley <br />• Review of the CRPD Therapeutic Recreation Program <br />9 Review of comparably sized public parks and recreation therapeutic recreation programs <br />• Recommendations arising from the study of comparably sized entities <br />• Other analysis and recommendations <br />* A conclusion <br />ONE SOURCE.
