Staff intends to provide recommendations and strategies for Board <br />consideration at a subsequent CRPD Board meeting. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On October 20, 2016, the board authorized the General Manager to enter into contract with Recreation <br />Accessibility Consultants (The W -T Group, LLC) to complete phase 1 of an evaluation of the District's <br />Therapeutic Recreation Program and Facility Needs. <br />Phase one includes: <br />Gathering information regarding CRPD's Therapeutic Recreation unit and community <br />demographics <br />Comparing CRPD's TR unit with comparable communities and TR units, and <br />Compiling information into a report with recommendations <br />Future phases would be considered depending on the findings and direction provided after the <br />completion of phase one. <br />The attached Phase One final report and appendix are attached.
