Programs Committee <br />General Report -Committee Meeting Minutes of August 1, 2017: <br />Bengtson referenced the meeting minutes and noted the success of <br />the August 20th History Comes Alive Women of the Conejo program. <br />She reported the Publicity Committee approved the expense for the <br />video taping of the performance and a short preview of the <br />videotaping was viewed by the Commission. Bengtson, in response <br />to Smith, reported an attendance of 204. Coleman extended kudos to <br />the committee members for the success of the program. <br />I. Publicity Committee <br />1. Blum reported the committee discussed establishing a YouTube <br />channel for Goebel Center utilizing video -tapings such as the one <br />done for the recent History Comes Alive as a marketing tool. In <br />response to Posta, he confirmed that permission to re -broadcast <br />would have to be obtained prior to broadcasting. He also reported <br />that the Year in Review Acorn ad was a bit small and hard to read. He <br />said the committee is looking to prepare a 2017 Year in Review that <br />would appear in an issue of the January 2018 Acorn. He noted the <br />format for the ad would be revised to make it more visible and easier <br />to read. Coleman offered the assistance of CRPD's Registration - <br />Publicity Supervisor for the formatting of the ad. <br />J. Bus Trip Committee <br />1. Martinich noted the committee will meet September 11. She reported <br />a September 12th trip will be split with the City of Camarillo and thal <br />there have been no recent cancelled trips due to low enrollment. <br />7. Staff Reports <br />A. Attendance Reports July 2017 <br />Hamm referenced the documentation. She said the totals in the report are correct <br />with 15,267 in attendance at 720 meetings/events in the month of July. <br />B. Past & Upcoming Program Report <br />Hamm referenced documentation of past programs, and gave an update on <br />upcoming programs. She noted an attendance of 73 at the Swing into the 30's <br />
