June 15, 2017 Page 2 Conejo Community Center — Safe Passages Program Lori Olbrich, Recreation Supervisor, Conejo Community Center and Outdoor Unit, reviewed the Safe Passages program which includes two locations, 850 Warwick and Conejo Creek. She highlighted the various programs and opportunities afforded the students, thanks in large part to the District's partnering with Chief Hagel and the Thousand Oaks Police Department. She shared a PowerPoint presentation including photos of many of the activities held over the past year. Olbrich answered Board member's questions and was thanked for her hard work and efforts on this important program. 6. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC 7. APPROVAL OF AGENDA It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 to approve the agenda as presented. 8. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of Minutes of June 1, 2017 Regular Board Meeting B. Approval of Warrants Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $456,365.90 Payroll $376,600.00 It was moved by Holt, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0 to approve the Consent Calendar. 9. DEFERRED MATTERS Public Hearing — Adopt Resolution 061517-A — Adopting the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 Budgets for All Funds Lange opened the Public Hearing. Lewanda indicated this is the end of the budget process for the two-year FY 2017-18 and 2018-19 budgets. The process began on April 6th with the adoption of a preliminary budget and the opening of a series of public hearings. The operating budget is the same as presented on June 1st. Two changes have been made to the Ten -Year CIP Improvement Plan: $140K carryover funds were added for futsal courts and the reclaimed irrigation project at North Ranch was moved from year two to year four due to a delay in CaWater infrastructure funding. It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 to adopt Resolution Number 061517-A adopting the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18 and 2018-19 budgets for all funds as presented and policy matter presented in the body of memorandum, that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived.
