Board Policy Review.
RECOMMENDATION
Create 3 new ad hoc committees of the Board of Directors to evaluate:
1. Park Impact and Quimby Fees.
2. Special Recognition Programs.
3. Board Policy Review.
DISCUSSION
With the new fiscal year just starting, there are several subject areas which could benefit from
focused consideration of an ad hoc committee.
1. Park Impact and Quimby Fees. The District has selected SCI Consulting Services to
prepare a review of the District's Park Impact and Quimby Fees. This review may
ultimately lead to recommended revisions to the Quimby ordinance and potentially to
the creation of a new park impact fee. The ad hoc committee would meet with staff
and the consultant as needed.
2. Special Recognition Programs. The District recognizes various groups and individuals
for certain special accomplishments or extraordinary efforts. This ad hoc committee
would review the existing recognition programs and make recommendations for
revisions or additions to its Special Recognition Programs.
403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223
(805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 Email: parks@crpd.org
