TO: City of Thousand Oaks and <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />FROM: Micah Akerson, Teen Services Director <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District (�F) <br />DATE: September 3, 2015 <br />SUBJECT: Alex Fiore Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />Status Report Winter 2015 <br />Summary <br />January 1 st - March 31 st <br />Attendance at the Teen Center totaled 31,990 units of participation. <br />The daily drop-in average of 250 participants comprised a total of 22,500 units of participation. <br />One thousand and twenty-nine teens (1,029) were actively involved in recreation classes, <br />workshops, league play, the Teen Leadership Club, and the Advisory Committee. Of that <br />number, 141 were enrolled in staff taught classes, and 60 in classes conducted by contract <br />instructors. Favorite programs included Beginning Fencing Club, Boys Dodgeball, Girl's Yoga <br />and Guitar. Fifteen hundred and forty-three teens (1,543) attended special events, and 287 <br />participated in cooperative programs. Additionally, 6,631 seniors, teens and community <br />members utilized the building on a permit basis. <br />1375 E.
