Holt, Director Joe Gibson, Director GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS Tex Ward Proposed Capital Provide direction to staff on the recommended proposed TEN-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN. Public hearings for the Fiscal Years 2015-16 and 2016-17 are scheduled for May 21, 2015 and June 4, 2015; the public hearing for final budget approval is scheduled for June 18, 2015. DISCUSSION Introduction Staff is presenting the Board with a proposed TEN-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN which includes the proposed Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) for the upcoming two fiscal years. Staff requests direction for proposed CIP items 1.04 through 1.14 (in bold on the attached) in the following Agenda Item 9B. These CIP items have aspects of waterwise improvements and should be discussed with other water related issues. One reason to perform this exercise is to ensure that Park Dedication Fees (PDF) or "Quimby" funds are identified and allocated to capital projects as intended by the law allowing collection of these funds. Another reason for presenting this report is to let the Board and public see what projects are planned for the upcoming years.
