CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 22, 2000 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Berger called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m., and Holt led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Jacobsen <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Benton, Jorgensen, and <br />Sorensen, Recreation Services Manager Lindsey, Park Maintenance <br />Superintendent Marchesano, Personnel Supervisor Bluhm, and Executive Secretary <br />Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Ward commended District employees, and said that he was pleased to recognize <br />them. On behalf of the Board and District. Ward presented awards to CRPD <br />employees for twenty-five, fifteen, ten, and five years of service to the District. An <br />overview of each employee's professional and academic achievements was <br />presented. <br />Dennis Gass received an award for twenty-five years of service; Lori Oibrich for <br />fifteen years; Milton Guiglio and Shirley Ohren for ten years, and Michael <br />McAdam for five years. <br />Board members expressed appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the <br />employees to the District: 'and community, and said they were pleased to have the <br />opportunity to get better acquainted with District employees. The employees <br />thanked District staff, management, and the Board for their support. <br />
