CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />April 19, 2012 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and Dee Pearson led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Jacobsen, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and <br />Lindsey, Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />COSCA Rangers <br />Park Superintendent Matt Kouba presented information illustrating the process <br />used by COSCA Rangers to design and construct trails. Board member's <br />questions were answered, and Kouba was thanked for his efforts. <br />Service Awards <br />Floyd Loomis, Maintenance Worker 11— 5 years <br />Bill Palermo, Park Operations Analyst — 25 years <br />Steve Wiley, Recreation Services Manager - 35 years <br />Karen Lindsey, Administrator, Recreation and Community Services — 35 years <br />Kouba, Hare, Lindsey and Friedl introduced the recipients, presented overviews of <br />their professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their <br />outstanding contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, families and the Board of Directors for <br />their support, and expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on <br />
