Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Lot Repairs and Improvements <br />Authorize General Manager to enter into Grant Agreement with Anthem Church. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The District entered into a 1971 Parking Lot Agreement (attached) with Conejo Valley Baptist <br />Church regarding the construction, maintenance, and joint use of a parking lot near Thousand <br />Oaks Community Park. The District has been working with representatives from Anthem Church <br />(ANTHEM), a Religious Corporation organized in 2009 and a successor to Conejo Valley Baptist <br />Church, regarding necessary repairs and improvements to the lot, specifically, asphalt removal <br />and replacement, irrigation and landscaping improvements, and lighting. <br />Grant Agreement Highlights <br />• ANTHEM will construct repairs and improvements to the parking lot near Thousand Oaks <br />Community Park worth approximately $278,120. <br />• CRPD agrees to grant 50% of the costs to ANTHEM, not to exceed $150,000. <br />• Costs of the GRANT shall include all costs associated with the construction of the repairs <br />and improvements, including, but not limited to: design and development, inspections, <br />construction, and permit fees to ensure the successful use of the repairs and <br />improvements. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive • Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 • FAX: (805) 497-3199 • Email: parks@crpd.org • Website; www.crpd.org <br />
