CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />December 18, 2014 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Coleman led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda, Lindsey and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE <br />Reelected Directors Gibson, Holt and Jones <br />Friedl congratulated the re-elected Directors and administered the oath of office to <br />Directors Gibson, Holt and Jones. <br />PRESENTATION TO CHAIR GIBSON <br />On behalf of the Board and staff, Friedl thanked Gibson for his service as Chair this year <br />and in years past, and presented him with a digital photo frame loaded with hundreds of <br />photos depicting the District - its places, programs and people - in appreciation for his <br />service. <br />CONEJO SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM <br />Rick Tanaka, Director of CSVP, thanked Board members for participating in the annual <br />CVSP luncheon held recently. He profiled two of the current CSVP volunteers, Joyce <br />Pesner, 97 -years old and Frances Bailey, 99 -years old. A power point presentation <br />followed with highlights of the program. Tanaka thanked the Board of Directors for their <br />continuing support. Board members expressed gratitude to Tanaka for his efforts and <br />congratulated him on his vital leadership. <br />
