Conejo <br />Recreation &Park District Recreation &Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, January 12, 2023 <br />Aquatic Recreation <br />Start of the Season <br />Aquatics is Kicking off the hiring <br />season by offering numerous - - + - .1 <br />TN <br />1C� , <br />Vim <br />IA - <br />American Red Cross Certification <br />Courses. The classes include lifeguard <br />candidates from all over California <br />whom we hope to become Spring or, <br />- Y <br />Summer hires. <br />=' <br />The Community Pool at CLU offers <br />�A; <br />Lifeguard Training, Lifeguard Review, <br />Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid, <br />Safety Training for Coaches, and <br />Water Safety Instructor Courses. So <br />far in 2023, 22 candidates have already been certified. <br />Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />Mountain High Ski/Snowboarding Trips <br />The Thousand Oaks Teen Center will be heading to <br />Mountain High for a couple Ski/Snowboarding trips on <br />Monday, January 23 and Friday, February 17. These all - <br />day trips (6:00am-7:30pm) are on CVUSD school <br />holidays. The fee for each trip is $150. Transportation and <br />lift ticket are included. The trips are for ages 12-17. This <br />excursion traditionally fills to capacity at 45 participants <br />per trip where teens find themselves as the only ones on <br />the slopes as it's a "normal" school day in Southern <br />California.
