Work commenced in early May and is now substantially completed.
The District and City entered into aBoard-approved reimbursement agreement in April 2020.
Additional work, due to unforeseen site conditions (more depth and areas of removal and replacement
of paving and tree root repairs) and not included in the original scope of work (replacement of speed
bumps at various sites and repairing the exit road at Conejo Creek South Park) were added to the
contract. The $693,634.71 limit of the original reimbursement agreement was exceeded and,
therefore, needs to be amended to $761,916.99 to reflect the additional work. Funding for the
additional work is available in the Districtwide paving project account and the Conejo Creek South
Exit Road Renovations project account. The original reimbursement agreement and proposed
amendment are attached.
STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE
Meets 2020 Strategic Plan Goal 3.2.6: Maintain and adjust existing assessment districts and evaluate
the establishment of new assessment districts or similar funding mechanisms in order to provide and
enhance park facilities.
Respectfully submitted by,
T.
