Authorize the General Manager to enter into a lease agreement with C\/USD for the property <br />at Waverly Neighborhood Park. <br />2. Authorize the General Manager to enter into a lease agreement with M/USD for the property <br />at Canada Neighborhood Park. <br />3. Authorize the General Manager to enter into a lease agreement with C\/USD for the property <br />at Lynn Oaks Neighborhood Park. <br />DISCUSSION <br />CRPD and CVUSD have a very long history with numerous successful partnerships and <br />agreements that have proven very beneficial to the public. <br />In 1973 (Waverly Neighborhood Park), 1977 (Canada Neighborhood Park), and 1982 (Lynn Oaks <br />Neighborhood Park), CVUSD and CRPD entered into agreements for the lease of CVUSD <br />properties to be designed, developed, constructed, and maintained as parks by CRPD. <br />Similar to the Joint Use Facilities Agreement, which, after over 30 years, was updated and <br />approved by CVUSD and CRPD Boards this year, staff believes this is an appropriate time to <br />update these property agreements. <br />Highlights of each attached agreement include: <br />• Teri -year initial term with two (2) additional five (5) -year mutual option terms, <br />• Agreements and approvals for any future site omprovements (i.e., playground <br />replacements), <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 1 FAX: (805) 497-31991 Email: parks@crpd.org I Website: www.crpid.org <br />
