Agreement and Permit Conditions RECOMMENDATION Authorize the General Manager to execute an agreement with CONEJO VALLEY DAYS (CVD) for the 2018 Conejo Valley Days (CVD) and accept 2018 CVD Permit Conditions. DISCUSSION In an effort to balance the impact of the significant financial investments on youth sports improvements to the site with the overall community benefit of CVD, staff has communicated with CVD and CVD representatives to discuss the Annual Agreement and Permit for the 2018 CVD. The goal of the discussions was to provide a venue at a reasonable fee while minimizing damage to the sports fields and down time at the site. The 2018 agreement is substantially similar to the previous year's agreements. Highlights from the 2018 CVD Agreement and Permit: • Exclusive use of Conejo Creek Park South from Sunday, May 6, 2018 to 10:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, o Majority of total weight of rides will be in parking lot. • CVD payment to District of $17,325, o $1,575 per day at Conejo Creek South (11 days) CVD shall pay the DISTRICT an additional $1,575 for each day, or fraction thereof, beyond 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, that the premises have not been restored to as good a condition as when received by CVD, Pre- and post -event financial reporting for participating non -profits. The 2018 Annual Agreement and 2018 Permit Conditions are attached.
