Minutes 5-24-17 <br />Page 2 <br />3. PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br />Gilda Youssef, Manager of One West Bank, introduced herself noting that <br />Commission accounts are currently invested with One West. She offered her <br />assistance with the accounts, if the need arises. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF April 26, 2017 <br />Smith asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the April meeting. <br />It was moved by Norkin, seconded by Baumeister, and passed unanimously, <br />to approve the minutes of the April meeting as presented. <br />6. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Confirmation of CRPD Board Ratification of Commissioners <br />Coleman confirmed the Conejo Recreation & Park District Board of Directors' <br />ratification of the six recently elected Commissioners, noting the re-election of <br />Del Basilio, Mary Martinich, John Posta and Steve Smith and the election of two <br />new Commissioners Marger Powell and Nancy Healy, <br />B. Officer Nominations from Nominations Committee and from Floor <br />Schiano, in response to Smith, presented the slate of officer nominees for <br />201712018: President, Steve Smith; Vice President, Maxine Cleary; Treasurer, <br />Del Basilio; Secretary, Mary Martinich. She said the elections will be conducted <br />at the June meeting, all candidates have indicated that they are willing to serve, <br />and as there were no nominations from the floor, the nominations are now <br />closed. <br />6. Officer and Committee Reports and Recommendations <br />A. President <br />Smith reminded everyone that the June meeting will be Harry Norkin's last <br />meeting as a commissioner and that there will be a luncheon at noon held in <br />his honor prior to the meeting at 1:00pm. <br />B.
