Reclassify the existing Senior Park Planner position (range 63) to Park <br />Planner (range 57) <br />2. Reclassify the existing Supervisory Park Ranger position (range 57) to <br />Park Ranger l (range 39) <br />DISCUSSION <br />Senior Park Planner to Park Planner <br />Since the resignation of the Senior Park Planner in the Fall of 2009, the Parks <br />and Planning Division has utilized a part-time contract employee for capital <br />project management. The contract employee's services are ending in Fall 2011. <br />Staff has evaluated the level of work required and recommends that the Senior <br />Park Planner position be reclassified to a Park Planner. <br />Supervvisory Park Ranger to Park Ranger 1 <br />As a result of the retirement of the Supervisory Park Ranger in July 2011, staff <br />evaluated the level of work required, and recommends that the Supervisory Park <br />Ranger position be reclassified to a Park Ranger I. <br />The Park Superintendent has been and will continue to fulfill supervisory <br />responsibilities for the Ranger unit. <br />HILLCREST CENTER 403 WEST HILLCREST DRIVE, THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA 99360-4223 <br />(805) 495-5471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 E-MAIL:parks@crpd.org <br />
