CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />September 1, 2011 <br />7.30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:31 pm and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Jacobsen, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and <br />Lindsey, Executive Assistant Reynders <br />9. C. Amendments to Ordinance Manual Section 502 — "Fees" and Section 504 - <br />"Classification of Facility Uses and Fee Charges." <br />Friedl introduced the ordinance amendment and referenced that the <br />implementation of the ordinance, if adopted, would take effect in July 2012. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, toapprove the <br />Amendments to Ordinance Manual Section 502 — Fees" and Section 504 — <br />"Classification of Facility Uses.and Fee Charges." <br />Director Holt announced that she was not feeling well and excused herself from <br />the meeting. <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />ETI Day of the Horse — Barbara Kloster <br />Kloster presented an overview of ETI activities. She thanked the Board for the <br />grant ETI received and referenced work that would be done with the donated <br />monies. A PowerPoint presentation with highlights of the 6t' Annual Day of the <br />Horse 2010 followed. Day of the Horse 2011 will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10tt'. <br />The Board thanked Barbara for her informative presentation and commended her <br />
