Holt, Director <br />Date: September 16, 2010 <br />To: Board of Directors <br />From: Jim Friedl, General 10 <br />Subject: Three Vehicle Purchases <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Award purchase in the total amount of $75,468.83 to Paradise Chevrolet as follows: <br />(1) 2011 Chevy Pick Up %2 Ton Regular Cab in the amount of $19,888.93; <br />(1) 2011 Chevy 4 x 4 Pick Up % Ton Extended Cab in the amount of $26,414.85; <br />(1) 2011 Chevy Pick Up %Ton Extended Cab in the amount of $29,165.85. <br />Funds are available in the Equipment Reserve Fund. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The 2011 Chevy pick up % ton regular cab is a new vehicle to be utilized by the new <br />additional day time custodian — previously the current asset was shared by both <br />custodians as one custodian worked days and the other nights. <br />The 2011 Chevy 4 x 4 pick up '/ ton regular cab and the 2011 Chevy pick up 3/ ton <br />extended cab will replace current asset #5075, a 2001 Dodge pick up and current asset <br />#5109, a 2000 Chevy pick up.
