LANG RANCH COMMUNITY PARK <br />DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />� <br />sporrsEoginoers Scope e of" S orts Engineering <br />C. p g g Services <br />The Scope of Services will consist of a brief program verification <br />7740 North 16th Street including an artificial turf versus natural turf analysis, design development, <br />Suite i l 0 construction documents and construction administration for the athletic <br />Phoenix, Arizona 95020 field improvements. Playing field components will include sub grade <br />preparation; drain stone/mat (for artificial turf if selected), growing <br />medium, field drainage systems, field turf (natural and artificial, if <br />selected), irrigation coordination, sports lighting, and all field equipment <br />{goals, backstops, fencing, etc). CMX will hire and manage additional <br />consultants as* required to provide a complete design, ready for bidding by <br />Iocal and regional general contractors and suppliers. <br />Sports Engineering <br />Brief Program Verification Phase <br />The intent of this phase is to generally confirm the project program, the <br />scope of the athletic facilities improvements and to prepare an analysis of <br />utilizing artificial turn versus natural turf for the proposed improvements. <br />CMX will: <br />1 Meet with the Owner to confirm project intent, scope of program, <br />budget and schedule. <br />►► Provide analysis of artificial turf versus natural turf for the <br />applicable improvements. <br />Review the preliminary estimate of probable construction costs <br />prepared by others, if required. <br />Make presentation of Programming Review to the Owner for review <br />and written.approval. <br />CMX assumes attending two (2) meetings during Programming Phase. <br />Design Development Phase <br />The intent of this phase is to prepare "Design Development" level plans <br />and specifications, for the athletic facilities improvements. <br />ATm-F,Ttc FIELD LAyouT PLANS. This plan gives a detailed layout and <br />description of all field and adjacent improvements such as: Field <br />backstops, athletic fencing and netting; Basketball Courts: Drinking <br />fountains, water supply and waste lanes serving fields; Light for <br />athletic fields (adjacent plaza/walkway lighting, electrical design <br />by others, conduits and electrical design by others); Athletic <br />Scoreboards, clocks, telephone outlets and event boxes (conducts and <br />electrical design by others); Athletic Accessories including but not <br />P S O M A S Scope of Services I CMX — 47 <br />
