Short III, Diredor <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Authorize the General Manager to sign an agreement with Pixelpushers, Inc., dba Civica Software <br />for website redesign services and intranet development. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On March 12, 2009, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued for the redesign of the District's <br />website. <br />The RFP was mailed to several website design firms, and notice of the RFP was posted on various <br />websites. Four website design firms responded to the District's RFP- <br />Futureworld Technologies - Carmichael, CA <br />Pixelpushers, Inc. dba Civica Software Newport Beach, CA <br />Vision Internet Santa Monica, CA <br />WSI Global Solutions Oxnard, CA <br />Each firm's proposal was evaluated by a committee consisting of representatives from each <br />department in the District. Two firms were interviewed. <br />Firms were evaluated based on the results of the proposal evaluation, interview, proposed cost, firm <br />size, experience with special districts and breadth of services available. <br />Pixelpushers, Inc. dba Civica Software was selected based on its ability to provide professional <br />guidance, qualified staff, price and experience. The not -to -exceed price for the contract is $56,740 <br />including $13,950 for the development of an intranet. The money for this project is available in the <br />=Y 2009-2010 budget.
