Short III, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Authorize General Manager to enter into agreement with Conejo Valley United Soccer <br />Club. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Conejo Valley United Soccer Club (CVUSC), a local not-for-profit program for youth <br />soccer, has served more than 10,000 youth of the community for more than thirty years, <br />by operating its soccer programs on the Thousand Oaks Community Park fields and <br />other District properties. In order to solidify and enhance the partnership between <br />CRPD and CVUSC, the attached Memorandum of Understanding was developed. <br />Highlights of the agreement include: <br />■ CVUSC will contribute Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000) in equal installments <br />of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) over seven (7) years from the execution of <br />this Agreement for constructing the Musco Athletic Field Lighting Improvements <br />at Thousand Oaks Community Park <br />■ CVUSC will remain an "In District" Non Profit Youth Organization whose primary <br />purpose is to provide recreation, as defined by CRPD, primarily dedicated to <br />serving youth soccer in the community. <br />■ During the field allocation process, CRPD will provide field time as follows: <br />August 1St — end of CRPD's annual T.O.
