Short Ill, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Subject: Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 062509--B <br />Resolution Approving Engineer's Report, Confirming Diagram and <br />Assessment and Ordering Levy of Assessment for Fiscal Year 2009-10 <br />(Districtwide Assessment (AD 62-1)) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Resolution No. 062509-A approving the Engineer's Report, Confirming the <br />Diagram and Assessment and Ordering the Levy of Assessment for the Districtwide <br />Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (AD 62-1). <br />DISCUSSION <br />On June 11, 2009, the Board of Directors directed the preparation of the annual <br />Engineer's Report for the Districtwide Assessment (62-1), preliminarily approved the <br />Engineer's Report and set the date, time and place for this Public Hearing to consider <br />final approval of the Engineer's Report, confirm the diagram and assessment and order <br />the levy of assessment for fiscal year 2009-10. The Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published in Ventura County Star on June 14, 2009. <br />The preliminary engineer's report was approved at the previous Board meeting. There <br />are no changes from the preliminary report to the final report. The engineering report <br />and the assessment roll are available for inspection at the District office. <br />The attached resolution confirms and approves the final Engineer's Report for the <br />Districtwide Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (AD 62-1) and <br />confirms the levies contained therein.
