Alex Fiore t <br />nousand Oaks Teen Gcnter <br />CONEJO RECREATION & PARK DISTRICT <br />TO: City of Thousand Oaks and <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />FROM: Brenda Coleman, Teen Services Director <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />DATE: August 27, 2004 <br />SUBJECT: Teen Center Status Report Spring 2004 <br />Summary. <br />During the period April 1, 2004 to May 31, 2004, attendance at the <br />Teen Center totaled 28,140 units of participation. <br />The daily drop-in average of 300 participants comprised a total of <br />18,300 units of participation. <br />There were 305 enrolled in Recreation classes. 120 teens were <br />registered in league play. <br />Special Events and Excursions brought 530.0 teens to the Center. <br />Permit Group attendance totaled 4115 participants. These mixed <br />groups are locally based. <br />The facility was closed for Conejo Valley Days from 6:00 p.m. <br />Friday, April 30, 2004 through Sunday, May 2, 2004- <br />Hiahlicxhts : <br />Spring is the Teen Center's shortest program season of the year, it <br />is only 61 days in length. it includes Spring Break and Conejo <br />Valley Days. <br />The Teen Center hosted two middle school dances, a high school <br />dance, a talent show, 5K fun run, as well as a Laker Game, Magic <br />Mountain and paintball excursions. <br />Additionally, the Coed Volleyball League was expanded to ten teams <br />11375 E.
