APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 10, 2004 <br />It was moved by Doane, seconded by Ossenkop, and carried to approve the <br />minutes as amended; i.e., correct typographical errors on pages 3 and 5. <br />Additionally, Courant noted a typographical error on the Bingo Financial Report; <br />i.e., on 12123 the Commission received no contribution. <br />4. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Appointment Of Alberta Fiorita As Vice President And Ann Pruitt As <br />Assistant Treasurer <br />Wiley said that Westland resigned as the President of the Commission; <br />Giovenco assumed the office of President; the office of Vice President is <br />now vacant, Fiorita has been recommended to serve the balance of the <br />term of office; and Pruitt has been recommended to assume the duties of <br />Assistant Treasurer. <br />Cottman said that the title should be Assistant to the Treasurer, not <br />Assistant. Treasurer,. the bylaws should be more explicit about replacing <br />elected officers, and they should be changed. Staff explained that the ad <br />hoc Bylaws Committee had a lengthy discussion, but decided not to <br />included the topic. Courant said that the committee didn't want to unduly <br />constrain the Commission in future years. <br />It was moved by Courant, seconded by Milligan, and carried to confirm <br />Fiorita as Vice President for the remainder of the term. <br />It was moved by Courant, seconded by Morita, and carried to confirm <br />Pruitt as Assistant to the Treasurer. <br />Giovenco asked if anyone was interested in serving as Recording <br />Secretary. Fiorita read the duties of the office. Doane volunteered. <br />It -was moved by Coffman and seconded by Hans to confirm Doane as <br />Recording Secretary. <br />Ward noted that the topic was not on the agenda, and therefore a vote <br />could not be taken. <br />
