Holt, Vice Chair <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2017-18 as presented in the attached document. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with Section 11.3 of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA), MRCA's <br />Preliminary Budget is submitted to the District for approval. The Preliminary Budget was <br />approved by the MRCA Board on June 7, 2017, and is scheduled to be approved by the Santa <br />Monica Mountains Conservancy and Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District at their June <br />meetings. <br />The preliminary budget submitted for the governing boards consideration is the 2016-17 <br />adopted budget adjusted for material changes in revenues and expenses as delineated on the <br />attachment. A final budget is under development and is anticipated to be presented to the <br />governing boards for approval in the late July/early August 2017 time frame. <br />Information on the budget and the budget itself are attached. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN <br />4.2 Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with...
