Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve Resolution No. 040716-A, adopting a preliminary budget for fiscal year 2016-2017, <br />and authorize the General Manager to publish the notice of adoption. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The District is required to adopt a preliminary budget for next fiscal year. The preliminary <br />budget submitted for Board consideration is the 2016-17 budget as adopted by the Board as <br />year 2 of the 2 -year budget in June, 2015. <br />This preliminary budget acts as a stimulus to begin the public hearing process. Public hearings <br />on the budget will begin at the Board meeting of April 21, 2016 and will be continued at each <br />subsequent Board meeting until the final budget is adopted on June 16, 2016, as currently <br />scheduled. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets Strategic Plan Vision Statement: In order to continue to serve our community and be <br />recognized as a tops recreation and park district in the nation, we must be financially stable. <br />Sub <br />Abministrator, Management Services <br />Attachments: 1.
