General Manag <br />1iSubject: Direct Access froyn St. Patric 's Episcopal Church to Old Meadows Park <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize General Manager to negotiate a mutually acceptable agreement with St. Patrick's <br />Episcopal Church to provide direct access from the Church to Old Meadows Park. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The attached request was sent to the District as a result of initial discussions between District <br />staff and representatives of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church regarding re-establishing direct access <br />from the Church to Old Meadows Park. <br />In order to provide such access, staff is recommending an agreement be reached with the <br />following minimum requirements: <br />o Design of access path to be approved by District staff <br />a Access path to have minimal impact to terrain and surroundings <br />St. Patrick's and District to co -host a neighborhood meeting before final design <br />* St. Patrick's to provide 100% funding for construction of access path <br />* Access path to be open and available for public use <br />Construction to be completed to District specifications <br />St. Patrick's to provide 100% of future ongoing maintenance of access path to District <br />standards (i.e. trail tread repair, trash pick-up, brush clearance) <br />St. Patrick's use of Old Meadows is non-exclusive and regularly scheduled use of Old <br />Meadows Park may require additional consideration <br />'-_- 403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 Email: parks@crpd.org. <br />i9fi3-2Ui3 <br />
