Minutes 12-11-13 <br />Page 2 <br />3. <br />9 <br />5. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br />None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOMBER 23, 2013 <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the October meeting. <br />It was moved by Basilio, seconded by Schiano to approve the minutes <br />of the October meeting. <br />Smith noted an error on page 5, Item 6-I, paragraph one, the names of the <br />acknowledged volunteers Sheila & Ernie Smith should be Sheila Smith and <br />Ernie Zornizer. <br />Motion passed unanimously to approve the minutes of the October <br />meeting as amended with the correction of page 5, Item 6-I, paragraph <br />one: Sheila & Ernie Smith is corrected to Sheila Smith and <br />Ernie Zornizer. <br />OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Address System - Update <br />Hamm referenced the staff report providing information pertaining to the <br />Commission's request of employing a public address system within the <br />Goebel Adult Community Center. She reported that she had conferred with <br />Mark Segedie, CRPD Information and Technology Analyst on the logistics of <br />this project. She said Segedie informed her that CRPD is currently planning <br />an up -grade of the phone system at GACC and that she discussed with him <br />the possibility of "piggy -backing" a public address system along with the <br />upcoming upgrade. <br />Discussion ensued, and the various options were shared and discussed. <br />Coleman indicated that staff will continue to research options and will come <br />back to the Commission with more information. <br />
