Determine that the Triunfo Community Park Reclaimed Irrigation Water Project is categorically <br />exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />2. Approve construction of reclaimed irrigation water system at Triunfo Community Park. <br />3. Waive minor irregularities in STL Landscape, Inc. bid submittal. <br />4. Transfer $175,000 from Turf Conversion Accounts to this project. <br />5. Award bid to STL Landscape, Inc. for $470,000 plus contingency in the amount of $35,241, <br />totaling $505,241 for irrigation equipment modification from potable to reclaimed water, <br />including new reclaimed water mainline and pump installation coordination, backflow removal, <br />existing valves, heads, mainline, and potable water line modification, installation of new <br />potable water line, turf renovation, decomposed granite paving, concrete walkways, tree and <br />shrub planting and mulch groundcover installation. <br />6. Authorize purchase of booster pump and installation services from Vaughn Irrigation Services, <br />Inc. in the amount of $113,612. <br />CEQA COMPLIANCE <br />For the Board consideration and approval, District staff believes the project qualifies for a Class <br />2 Categorical Exemption, pursuant to Section 15302 of the CEQA Guidelines. Class 2 exemptions <br />include replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure <br />will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same <br />purpose and capacity as the structure replaced.
