Alex Fiore <br />Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />CONEJO RECREATION & PARK DISTRICT <br />TO: City of Thousand Oaks and <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />FROM: Micah Akerson, Teen Services Director <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />DATE: November 6, 2014 <br />SUBJECT: Alex Fiore Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />Status Report Winter 2014 <br />Summary <br />January 1St - March 31St <br />Attendance at the Teen Center totaled 31,756 units of participation. <br />The daily drop-in average of 250 participants comprised a total of 22,500 units of participation. <br />Nine hundred and ninety-seven teens (997) were actively involved in recreation classes, <br />workshops, league play, the Teen Leadership Club, and the Advisory Committee. Of that <br />number, 165 were enrolled in staff taught programs, and 223 in classes conducted by contract <br />instructors. Favorite programs included Beginning Fencing Club, Boys Basketball and Anime <br />Drawing classes. Thirteen hundred and twelve teens (1,312) attended special events, and 658 <br />participated in cooperative programs. Additionally, 6,289 community members utilized the <br />building on a permit basis. <br />1375 E.
