Minutes 8-27-14 <br />Page 2 <br />Seerden welcomed CRPD Board Director and Goebel Senior Center <br />Commission Liaison, Ed Jones and Bill Cleary to the meeting. <br />Jones noted he was attending the Commission meeting as an observer. <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the July meeting. <br />A. Colilles-Fuentes Reimbursement of Grant Writing Workshop Fees <br />Colilles-Fuentes, in response to Seerden, explained that she attended the <br />first session of the two-day instructional Grant Writing Workshop designed <br />for non-profit organizations. She noted that as part of the workshop <br />curriculum she was instructed to write a grant proposal for the non-profit <br />agency she is affiliated with. She asked the Commission for guidance as to <br />a project idea of the grant proposal. She said she will write the assigned <br />grant proposal based on the project idea at the second part of the workshop <br />scheduled October 22. <br />Seerden indicated that he has appointed an ad hoc committee to work on <br />project ideas for the basis of the grant proposal for Colilles-Fuentes. <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve funding for the $40 grant writing <br />workshop fee incurred by Colilles-Fuentes. <br />It was moved • •seconded by Martinich, and passed <br />
