CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br /> <br />Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Jones led the flag salute. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br /> <br />Directors Absent: <br /> <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare and Lindsey and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br /> <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br /> Conejo Community Center Outdoor Unit – Dino Dig <br /> <br /> Lori Olbrich, Recreation Supervisor from the Conejo Community Center, gave an <br />overview of the “Dino Dig”. This event, held annually, began five years ago and <br />has sold out every year. A total of 120 children participate. She summarized the <br />fun activities involved, including decorating paleontologist’s helmets, a visit to the <br />“dig site” where participants can excavate dinosaur “fossils”, a dinosaur ring toss, <br />and a 3-D diorama. Olbrich answered Board members’ questions. She was <br />thanked for her informative presentation. <br /> <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />5.
