Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Manag GGA <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 052214-C Ordering the <br />Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos <br />Vientos) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Continue Public Hearing to consider adoption of Resolution No. 052214-C ordering the levy of <br />assessments for LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos) to June 5, 2014. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On April 17, 2014, the Board of Directors adopted a Resolution of Intention to levy the <br />assessments for LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos) for the fiscal year 2014-15. The Resolution set the <br />date, time and place for the Public Hearing required for the levy of the annual assessments. <br />The Notice of Public Hearing was not published in Ventura County Star in sufficient time for <br />proper notification of the Public Hearing to consider the adoption of the Resolution No. <br />052214-C ordering the levy of assessments for LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2013 Strategic Plan Element 3.2.7: Maintain and adjust existing assessment districts <br />and evaluate the establishment of new assessment districts or similar funding mechanisms in <br />order to provide and enhance park facilities. <br />Respectfully submitted by, <br />cl��%�� <br />T.
