Holl, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />DATE: May 22, 2014 <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Manag <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Consi tion of Resolution No. 052214-6 Ordering the <br />Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 <br />(Rancho Conejo) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Resolution NO. 052214-B ordering the levy of assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho <br />Conejo). <br />DISCUSSION <br />On April 17, 2014, the Board of Directors adopted a Resolution of Intention to levy the <br />assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) for the fiscal year 2014-15. The resolution set <br />the date, time and place for the Public Hearing required for the levy of the annual <br />assessments. The Notice of Public Hearing was published in Ventura County Star on May 12, <br />2014. Additional public notification of the District budgetary process was advertised in the <br />District's Summer Brochure. <br />The resolution under consideration at this time confirms and approves the final Engineer's <br />Report for LMD 92-1 (available online at www.crpd.org/92-lER) and confirms the levies <br />contained therein. The levies ($70.78 per single family unit for FY 2014/2015 changing from <br />$63.96 per single family unit in FY 2013/2014) are within the range allowable per Proposition <br />218 (not to exceed $91.68 per single family unit for FY 2014/2015 changing from not to exceed <br />$91.18 per single family unit in FY 2013/2014). <br />Should the Board adopt Resolution No. 052214-13, the assessment diagram and levies will be <br />filed with the County Auditor, and the assessments collected at the same time and manner as <br />County taxes. <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 Email: parks@crpd.org <br />
