Select External Financial Auditors <br /> <br />Lewanda reviewed the RFP process, which began with a meeting of the Finance <br />Committee. After six proposals were reviewed by key finance staff members, <br />Moss, Levy was recommended by staff. This same recommendation will be on the <br />April 2nd agenda for the MRCA Board meeting. Lewanda answered Board <br />member’s questions. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 5-0 to authorize the <br />General Manager to sign a three-year agreement with Moss, Levy & <br />Hartzheim, LLP for external audit services. <br /> <br />B. Authorization to issue Request for Proposal seeking consultant to prepare <br />Park Impact Fee Nexus Study and review application of the existing Quimby <br />Ordinance to the Thousand Oaks Boulevard Specific Plan <br /> <br />Friedl explained the origins of the necessity for this RFP. Consultants will be <br />sought: 1) to prepare a park impact fee nexus study, and 2) to compare the <br />District’s Quimby fee structure with comparable agencies.
