Halt, Director
Joe Gibson, Director
GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS
Tex Ward
Approve purchase of two 29' all -steel Brentwood Style Shelters to Pure Play in the amount of
$44,643. Staff contacted
the company, Litchfield Industries in Michigan, who directed staff to their regional distributor for this
area, Pure Play.
In accordance with the District`s Purchasing Policy, equipment valued between $30,000.01 and
$45,000, no bidding is necessary, however, the Board must approve the purchase.
Staff considers the $44,643 price quoted by Pure Play fair and reasonable (see attached). It is
anticipated the project will be completed in December 2015.
STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE
Meets 2095 Strategic Plan Element 2.3: Maintain the 10 -Year Capital Improvement Plan.
Regularly update the 10 -Year Capital Improvement Plan to prioritize projects and effectively
plan and allocate future resources.
