Holt, Director Joe Gibson, Director GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS Tex Ward Adopt Resolution Number 061815-A adopting the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-16 & 2016-17 budgets for all funds as attached, associated personnel actions, and policy matters contained in the body of this memorandum. DISCUSSION Operating Budget For FY 2015-16 and 2016-17, the District adopts budgets for the General Fund, Districtwide Assessment Fund, Dos Vientos Assessment District Fund, Rancho Conejo Assessment District Fund, Capital Improvement Projects and Equipment Replacement Fund. The operating budget is the same as that presented and discussed at the June 4, 2015 Board meeting, however, the line item for water costs for both budget years has been reduced to the current year budget amount, with the funds reprogrammed for use in beautification at turf removal sites. As discussed on June 4, the operating budget contemplates two reclassifications. One is reclassification of a part time Recreation Therapist position to a full time Recreation Therapist position, which will provide stability and professional level support for increased programming at the Therapeutics unit, at an annual net cost of approximately $16,400. The second is reclassification of the Registration/Publicity Coordinator to Registration/Publicity Supervisor, reflecting growth in the responsibilities and expertise required to provide registration, publication (including increasing from four to five program guides per year), marketing, outreach, and social media services to all levels of the district, at an initial annual net cost of approximately $4,700. 403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 (805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 Email: parks@crpd.org
