Halt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the appointment of Bonnie Baumeister, and the reappointment of Cynthia Bengtson, <br />Maxine Cleary, Mary Fineroff, Harry Norkin and Mickey Toyen to the Goebel Senior Center <br />Commission. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Goebel Senior Center Commission is an elected body with up to 15 members, and <br />annually, in compliance with their bylaws, the Commission holds elections. There were six <br />seats up for election; five three-year terms, and one one-year as a result of mid-term member <br />resignation. <br />Five members whose terms are due to expire on June 30, 2015; Cynthia Bengtson, <br />Maxine Cleary, Mary Fineroff, Harry Norkin and Mickey Toyen applied for reappointment. In <br />addition to the five members who reapplied, applications were received from another four <br />applicants to equal a total of nine applicants. Applications for those nominated for Board <br />appointment are attached. <br />In advance of the election, interviews were held with applicants by the Applicant Review Ad <br />Hoc Committee made up of commissioners Steve Smith (chair), Dei Basilio, and <br />Mary Martinich. Director Jones observed the interview process.
