CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br /> <br />Jones called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Campbell led the flag salute. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br /> <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br /> <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br /> <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br /> Therapeutics – “Kitchen Kapers” <br /> <br /> Cecilia Laufenberg, Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor, highlighted “Kitchen Kapers,” a <br />cooking class for ages 15+ which helps patrons develop adult skills necessary later in life. <br />Through this class, many issues are addressed – sensory issues, fine motor skills, behavioral <br />learning, reading comprehension, visual discrimination, etc. Laufenberg shared letters from <br />parents grateful for all the benefits of this program. <br /> <br /> Laufenberg answered Board member’s questions and was thanked for her informative <br />presentation. <br /> <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to approve the Agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />6. Approval of Warrants <br /> Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $274,495.86 <br /> Payroll $336,500.00 <br />
