Minutes 1-18-96 <br />Page 2 <br />5. <br />A <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Gillette suggested that item B.B. proceed item 7.A. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried <br />unanimously, to approve the agenda as modified; to consider <br />item 8.B. before item 7.A. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of December 19, 1996 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - E, Total $344,742.42 <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried <br />unanimously, to approve the Consent Calendar as <br />presented. <br />B. Approval Of 1997 Conejo Valley Days Agreement <br />Sorensen identified the differences between the 1996 and <br />1997 Conejo Valley Days Agreements, noting the same flat <br />fee of $10,000, with an increase in the percentage of net <br />proceeds from two percent to four percent. He said that <br />this is in addition to annual donations of $1,000 for the <br />fireworks display and $2,000 for the Concert in the Park <br />series. He reported that last year's net proceeds <br />generated $1,139 and Mary Lou Miller, General Chair of <br />Conejo Valley Days, was present to answer questions. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried <br />unanimously to extend the term of the 1996 agreement <br />through 1997, subject to the fee changes described in <br />paragraph eight of the submitted agreement. <br />Miller announced the theme of the event to be "Country <br />Heaven In '9711, she invited participation in the logo <br />contest, and referenced event leaflets. <br />On behalf of the Board, Gillette extended best wishes to <br />Miller and her organization. <br />
