Holt stated that <br />street parking issues are under the jurisdiction of the <br />City of Thousand Oaks. Jacobsen suggested that the <br />District communicate citizens' parking concerns to the <br />City. <br />John Innes, landscape architect, said he was available <br />for questions. <br />Frank Fay, of Shapell Industries, said that he was <br />available for questions. <br />Lesley Friedman deferred to Michael Ireland. <br />Michael Ireland, Chair of the Rancho Conejo Village <br />Homeowners Association Park Committee, stated his <br />appreciation of the District's cooperation and expressed <br />concern about the misuse of the surrounding area and park <br />site. He referenced the association's design and phasing <br />outline and identified suggestions for crime deterrence, <br />including motion sensors on walkway lights, non-locking <br />bathroom stalls, and modified architecture and relocation <br />of the restroom. <br />Tobie Snitzer thanked the District for its cooperation <br />and expressed concern for bathroom security. <br />Nan Eichermueller thanked the District for its <br />cooperation and recommended a larger tot -lot and also <br />delaying construction of the parking lot until Phase 2. <br />Additionally, she said she was against parking on Camino <br />dos Rios. <br />Lesley Friedman thanked the District for its cooperation, <br />and recommended a larger tot -lot and a second basketball <br />court.
