CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 19, 1996 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />M I N U T E S <br />I. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gillette called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m., and <br />led the flag salute. <br />2, ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, Jacobsen, and <br />Lange <br />Berger arrived at 7:38 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward; Administrators Jorgensen, <br />Sorensen, and Washington; Park Planner Welty, and Executive <br />Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Young Athlete Recognition Award - Kristi Fox <br />Holt and Jacobsen highlighted Fox's achievements. Coach <br />Nourse praised her dedication, hard work and tenaciousness. <br />Gillette acknowledged Coach Ackerman. On behalf of the Board, <br />Gillette presented the award. Fox thanked the District and <br />all those who have supported her. The Board congratulated <br />Fox and extended best wishes for her future. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried <br />unanimously, 5-0, to approve the agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of December 5, 1996 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - B, Total $206,436.20 <br />
