He said this is a major annual <br />event, and he invited Board attendance. <br />Concluding, he said that registration is going well and <br />staff is looking forward to fall activities. <br />C, Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen reported that, as a result of Gillette's recent <br />request, staff checked with the District's risk <br />management consultants about the desired level of <br />liability coverage to be required of users. The <br />consensus was that 80 percent of all public agencies have <br />a limit of $1 million aggregate, as the District does, <br />and the cost of greater coverage is frequently <br />prohibitive and unavailable. He said that staff has <br />asked the Rotary sponsors of Oktoberfest to provide $2 <br />million of coverage. <br />Jorgensen said that a demonstration of the District's <br />presence on the internet is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, <br />September 10 at the administration offices, and he <br />invited all to attend. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Jorgensen said that the <br />internet vendor is Advanced Network Solutions, delays <br />were caused by vendor staff turnover and the preparation <br />of visuals, he is satisfied with their work, the service <br />charge is $100 a month, their server will be used, and <br />the internet information presented will be comprehensive. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that efforts will continue on behalf of <br />AB2797, and the California Constitution Revision <br />Commission completed its work and there are no local <br />community charter provisions included in pending <br />legislation. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange thanked staff for the book Joel McCrea - Riding_ The <br />High Country. <br />Gillette noted the recognition given to the District in <br />the recent Conejo Valley Botanic Gardens newsletter, and <br />he congratulated Washington and staff for the well <br />received and well attended Labor Day concert.
