CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />October 15, 9998 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Lange called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m., and Susan Ward led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, Senior Grounds Supervisor Peterson, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Oh behalf of the Board and District, Ward presented awards to CRPD employees <br />for 20, 15, and 10 -years of service to the District. Overviews of each employee's <br />professional and academic achievements were presented. <br />On behalf of the Board and District, Lange presented a 30 year award to Ward, <br />and synopsized his accomplishments. Jorgensen, Sorensen, and Washington <br />presented flowers to Susan Ward, and expressed appreciation for her support. <br />The Board acknowledged and commended the employees for their efforts and <br />contributions of the District and community. The employees thanked District staff, <br />management, and Board members for their support. <br />Tex Ward received an award for 30 years of service to the District, Louise <br />Danielle and Jan Robertson for 20 years, Charles Kreis, and Patti Ricketts for <br />10 years. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:15 p.m. and reconvened at 8:25 p.m <br />
